Site Manager

South Wales | Long-Term Project | Competitive Pay

The client is a well-established and growing construction group with a dedicated Fire Remediation Department delivering critical safety and compliance works across residential and commercial projects.

Due to continued growth and a secured long-term programme of works in South Wales, we are seeking an experienced Fire Remediation Project Site Manager to lead site operations and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, compliant fire safety projects.

The Role:

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of fire remediation works, including:

• Managing site teams and subcontractors
• Overseeing fire safety remediation works (compartmentation, fire stopping,cladding remediation, upgrades etc.)
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification
• Coordinating with Contracts Managers, SHEQ, and clients
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety and quality control
• Producing site reports, progress updates, and RAMS
• Leading toolbox talks and ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations

Essential Requirements:

• NVQ Level 6 (or higher) in Construction / Site Management
• SMSTS
• Fire Marshal / Fire Warden Certification
• First Aid at Work
• CSCS Black (Manager) Card
• Industry-recognised trade qualification (e.g. carpentry, drylining,brickwork, fire stopping, etc.)
• Proven experience delivering fire remediation or fire safety works onconstruction sites
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Full UK driving licence
